"Be well, my friend" was a phrase that was often uttered by one of Dr. Kenerson's brothers at the conclusion of phone conversations. Regrettably, he passed away suddenly but he is remembered by this phase.
These prophetic words were carved into pumpkins marking the way to the memorial service celebrating the life of a most caring man who impacted the lives of everyone he touched. His strong hugs, easy laugh and this simple farewell inspired his family and friends to take responsibility for their "being" and for their own wellness.
Through friendships and health we can extend deep caring feelings to others. This farewell and all of its implied intentions, wishes and hopes are who we are.
