Dr. Dufrense, D.O. also offers women's prenatal care and newborn care in our office with labor and delivery services at Maine General Hospital providing your entire family care under one roof.

Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT)
Our physicians here at Be Well My Friend specialized in Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy, which is a holistic hands-on approach to treat your musculoskeletal system symptoms like:
- Breathing issues like asthma and sinus infections.
- Bowel issues, such as irritable bowel syndrome and constipation.
- Chronic pain, including fibromyalgia, arthritis, menstrual pain and migraines.
- Musculoskeletal problems like back and neck pain, joint pain and carpal tunnel syndrome.
- Problems associated with pregnancy, such as swelling (edema), insomnia and sciatica.
- Sports injuries and repetitive stress issues.

Phlebotomy Services
Be Well My Friend offers in house phlebotomy (blood draws) with specimen samples being sent to Maine General for analysis, or we can offer your laboratory orders be sent to a facility of your choice.

Dr. Kevin Kenerson, DO
Dr. Kevin Kenerson is our co-founder an board-certified family medicine physician who provides a broad range of health care services and has a special clinical interest in addiction treatment, osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM), holistic health and physical fitness.
He is a member of MaineGeneral Medical Center's ambulatory care staff and received his education through University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, Biddeford, ME, Medical School.
Dr. Kenerson is known for making connections with an open-mind, an open heart and good humor. He fosters a collaborative and learning culture, ensuring excellence in patient care and quality outcomes as well as patient and staff satisfaction.
Along with being a medical physician, Dr. Kenerson is a social entrepreneur always connecting people, resources and ideas to create initiatives that will enhance the wellness and quality of life of the people in his communities.
Be Well My Friend's holistic philosophy, integrative and collaborative approach to individual, family and community health has led him to develop further initiatives and establish organizations to perform research, education, direct primary care practice (non-insurance), behavioral health and recovery services, a 501C to serve the health care needs of the poor among us, and a trade organization to facilitate the exchange of goods and services between people and community business.
Dr. Michael Dufresne, DO
Dr. Dufresne and partner of Be Well My Friend did his undergraduate training at UNH and completed his medical training at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME. He is board certified in Family Practice and integrates Osteopathic Manipulation as part of comprehensive patient care. Dr. Dufresne has a special interest in Women’s Health, including prenatal care and obstetrics.
